After my tattoo, how do I look?
Ans: After two hours, take off the cling film once your tattoo is finished. Use warm water and soap without fragrance to clean the tattoo. Apply a thin coating of the suggested balm to the tattoo after patting it dry with a fresh, dry cloth. Use enough balm to give your skin a glossy appearance. For the duration of the first two weeks of recovery, apply the balm four to five times a day, or whenever the skin feels dry. Like a sunburn, the tattoo's top layer may begin to peel after a few days. This can remove the ink from your tattoo, so don't peel it off. Seeing tiny flakes of colored skin at this time is quite natural.

Can I get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Ans: No, the health and wellbeing of you and your child always comes first. When you are pregnant your skin can be highly sensitive and due to the increased stress that your body is under, the chances of you passing out are greatly increased, your body could go into shock causing premature labour. With breastfeeding some of the ink can penetrate the blood stream Even though the above risks are minimal, for sure its worth waiting until after pregnancy/breastfeeding before starting or completing your tattoo.
